Launched in 2001, the AFA (Association des Fromages d’Auvergne) had had more than a face lift, it has been completely restructured!
A new portal for the Auvergne PDO cheeses
This brand new web site is the portal for Auvergne PDO cheeses, a reference and source of information on our 5 PDO cheeses: Bleu d’Auvergne, Cantal, Fourme d’Ambert, Saint-Nectaire and Salers!
From the entry point, you can access all the information related to Auvergne cheese:
- Fact files on the PDO cheeses and a direct access to the PDO union sites.
- The Cheese Road, interactive mapping and information on each gourmet stop of the Road.
- Gastronomy: some advice on how to fully appreciate PDO cheeses and a selection of tasty recipes.
- Fact files on PDO, newsletters, a calendar of the events and an updated “News” section.
On every page of the site there is:
- An easy access to the pages dedicated to each PDO and to each PDO cheese site.
- A possibility to quickly access the Cheese Road map and check the gourmet stops.
